Actually, I already watched this Kseries before but I never really watched it in totality. All I could say is that this one is really a CLASSIC. I could never say anything bad about Rain and Song Hye Kyo, both are so lovable and good looking...

I really love this drama!

Storyline
A naive, cheerful, albeit somewhat reclusive writer, Ji Eun is swindled out of everything she owns — not by strangers, but her best friends! A story about love and heartbreak, sadness and self-preservation. In spite of it all, Ji Eun manages to be humorous and endearing - even when her heart is broken.

Han Ji-Eun (Jessie Han) ~ Song Hye Kyo

Ji-Eun is cheerful, optimistic and loyal to her friends. She is naive and not very smart, but she makes up for it with her spunk and good heart. Her journey with Young Jae shows how much she loves and what she is willing to do to protect the people she loves. She is an orphaned online novelist who lives in a beautiful house (called FULL HOUSE) which she inherited from her parents. Her troubles started when her closest friends tricked her by sending her on a trip to Shanghai so they could sell her house behind her back.

Lee Young-Jae (Justin Lee) ~ Bi (Rain)

Young-Jae is a top Korean actor. He does his utmost not to hurt other people and not to be hurt himself. Every movie he starred in became a blockbuster. He is stubborn when it comes to selecting which movies to star in, but he has received much acclaim for his talent. Although Young-Jae always behaves and speaks as he wants, he does that only to protect himself from being hurt and not to hurt others. People think of him as a very candid person, but that is also Young-Jae’s strategy to hide himself – or rather his failure to express himself to the fullest. As one who is unaccustomed to being frank and open, Young-jae is bad at making friends and very proud of his ideals and principles. He deeply loves his childhood friend, Hye-Won, even though she shows him no affection. One day, he stumbles upon Ji-Eun and slowly falls in love with her.

Kang Hye-Won (Lorraine Kang) ~ Han Eun Jung

Hye-Won is the daughter of Doctor Lee's friend. She is a fashion designer, who designs Young-Jae’s clothes. She has known Young-Jae’s family since her childhood. Hye-won has lived her entire life in abundance and has had many choices. She comes from a rich family, and is accustomed to being loved. She has never been rejected by anybody, until Min-Hyuk, and only feels content when everybody around her loves her.

Yoo Min-Hyuk (Luigi Yoo) ~ Kim Sung Soo

Min-Hyuk is a director of a large media company. He dreams of establishing Asia’s Walt Disney or Fox. He is tenacious and smart, and respected and recognized for his skills. He is confident in earning trust from people. He has always been a winner, and is determined to remain one for the rest of his life. He possesses sophisticated manners and is very eloquent – a Prince Charming that any girl could dream of. Min-Hyuk believes that life is too short to live it without fun. Unlike his seemingly unrestricted personality, he is very composed and prudent. He can’t stand losing and has a strong desire to win in everything, which probably explains his successful career. Hye-Won loves him though he rejects her instantly saying that she’s like a sister to him. Known to be a player, he is changed when he meets Ji-Eun and realizes that she is something special.

GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) Live Action

This is my second attempt in watching Japanese Live Action Dramas.
I couldn't help but really admire this series. I didn't expect so much but it was really great. The plot and characters did a very impressive job. Friendship, love and unity is the center of the story. The treatment is funny and light, although it has some violence and nudity on the side, but it depicts REAL LIFE. I really love the portrayal of Takashi Sorimachi as Onizuka...It was sooo convincing.

Live-Action

A 12-episode live-action (drama) was broadcasted on television, based loosely on the manga. Takashi Sorimachi stars as Onizuka, and Nanako Matsushima as Azusa. It is directed by Masayuki Suzuki, with music composed by Takayuki Hattori and the opening song, "Poison", sung by Takashi Sorimachi himself. There are several drastic changes from the manga to fit the 12-hour format of the live-action series, such as the following:

Nanako Mizuki also studies at the Holy Forest Academy
The character of Uehara Anko is eliminated; instead, her characteristics are merged into Miyabi Aizawa's character, thus making Miyabi the daughter of the PTA president
Ryuji Danma's character is also eliminated, giving some of his characters's functions to Saejima, Onizuka's police friend
Julia Murai, Kunio's mother, is the widow of Onizuka's biker gang idol, rather than being just another parent of one of Onizuka's students
Nevertheless, the changes in the live-action accomplishes to capture the spirit of GTO very well. According to Tokyopop, the final episode of the live action series was the most watched television program ever in Japan.[3]

Coincidentally, Matsushima is married to Takashi Sorimachi, who played Onizuka in that series. Sorimachi and Matsushima met on the set of GTO, they married in 2001 after a long term relationship and, in May 2004, Nanako gave birth to their first child, a baby daughter.

A two-hour television special followed in August 1999, and a theatrical movie in January 2000.

Fan Fiction (Goong)-Whispers to the Cloudless Sky

I am recently crazy with my friend's fan fic on the two leading characters of Goong, Lee Shin & Shin Chae Gyung. Although it is a fan fic, but I couldn't really help myself but to be addicted to the story. The Character's personality is really similar with the K-Series. All I could say is that my friend Lualm (from soompi & PEX forums) is just creative & brilliant. As of writing the Fanfic is soon to be concluded.

Chae Gyung held onto his arm while she was being led into the room by Shin.
With his coat still hanging loosely on her shoulders, she quietly sat down
on the bed and slowly took it off and returned it to him.

“Thank you.” It was the first time she has said those words to Shin after a
long time.

He nodded and took the coat. “Don’t ever go to those places anymore. It’s
too dangerous for you.” Shin thought Chae Gyung was thanking him for the
coat. He turned his back to leave. “Go to sleep. You’ll need a lot of rest
tonight.”

As he took a few steps towards the door, Chae Gyung looked up. “Wait.”

Shin stopped and looked over his shoulder.

“I mean thank you, for saving me tonight.” She spoke with a tone of
gratitude. Chae Gyung was surprised how her voice has fully expressed her
thoughts.

Shin nodded again and proceeded to the door.

“Wait.”

He turned around. “Yes?”

“I’m feeling a bit weak. Can you…mmm…get me a …glass of milk?” She asked
sweetly and lowered her eyes while holding a pillow close to her chest. She
wanted to talk to him some more.

“Okay.” Shin walked out of the room.

Her flesh trembled as he disappeared from her sight. The thought of what
might have happened if Shin didn’t arrive in time made her shiver from head
to toe. She could not deny the calming effect his mere presence has on her.



Minutes later, he came back with a glass of milk. “You will sleep better
with this.” Chae Gyung sipped the glass of milk.


Shin walked to the door and turned off the light. “Wait.” Chae Gyung stopped
him from leaving again. He thinks I don’t want him around.

“Yes?”

“I can’t sleep with lights out tonight.”

Shin switched on the light again.
He opened the door.

“Wait.” Chae Gyun called out again.

“You still need anything?”

Chae Gyung’s eyes scanned the side table.

“I can’t sleep. Can you read me… a book?”

He walked back to her side. Shin looked at the books and a novel by Amy Tan
caught his eyes. He moved the picture frame of Eric carefully to the side so
he can pick the book without toppling it. Chae Gyung saw him getting
uncomfortable with it and reached for the frame and hid it inside the
drawer.

She was waiting for him to sit by her bedside but Shin instead took a seat
near her side table.

He thinks I don’t want him near me.

Chae Gyung lay on her back and pulled the blanket up to her neck. She
listened quietly as Shin’s gentle voice filled the room. Tonight it was the
sweetest melody she has heard. Nothing could have calmed her more than this.
She was safe now.


When he noticed Chae Gyung was already in deep slumber, Shin stopped reading
and sat by her bedside. Staring longingly at the face that has captivated
his heart all these years, Shin could no longer restrain himself from
running his fingers on her cheeks. Tonight she has asked him to stay for the
first time. And it made him happy to feel being needed by the person he
loves, even for just a moment.

Prince Hours (Goong S)

I watched this drama for the reason that I'm really curious on Goong's second attempt...and I wasn't disappointed at all. Although it was taken out of Goong's story but I think it's a whole new story at all. The characters were made for the roles they played. All I could say is that Korean dramas have really grown as far as scenery and plot is concerned. This series is incomparable with Goong since it deals with a diffent situation and conflict.

Lee Hu (Prince Yeong-seong) – Se7en (Choi Dong-wook)
“The Screwball Chinese-Delivery-Boy Crown Prince”
Hu is a direct descendent of the royal family, with true blue blood running in his veins. But he himself is utterly oblivious to this fact, and ekes out a living by making deliveries for a Chinese restaurant in Incheon.
Although he screws up everything he does, he is an optimistic young man with a positive outlook and a cheerful constitution. He is the reigning champion of Chinese deliveries, able to complete any delivery within 7 minutes or less.

Hana Yori Dango 2

This was the best sequel I have ever seen. Compared to the Taiwanese version, I think this one is much better. The plot is less complicated and less dragging. The drama is light, funny and spontaneous. The best version ever made!

Something About 1%

This drama is really special. I don't know how but it has a really good impression on hope and love. I love how the drama tackles on the chances in love of two opposite people. It also made emphasis on family, values and culture.

He is the Head of Planning Department at SH Emerald Hotel. He lost his parents when he was young and he brought up by his grandfather. His hot temper often sets him at odds with his grandfather whom he calls "master". In the end, he has a big fight with his "master" and runs away from home to live alone. Jae-In is an undoubtedly handsome and intelligent guy from a wealthy family so many girls look up to him but to those who really know him, he is a total "disaster". One days he gets a call that his name was rewritten on his grandfather's will but his grandfather's proposal to him seems somewhat "crazy". But to get what he wants, he has to marry a girl named Da-Hyun.

Jeong, Hyun-Jin (acted by Han Hye-Jin)

She has been Da-Hyun's best friend ever since from middle school and now lives in Da-Hyun's house. For her, Da-Hyun is more like her real sister other than just a friend. She is currently working as the intern at a general hospital. Blessed with both wit and beauty, she is an object of envy among everyone but she also has a story of her own. One days she meets Tae-Ha and falls in love with him.

Min, Tae-Ha (acted by Lee Byeong-Wook)

He is Jae-In's cousin and has been Jae-In's rival ever since he was little. Born 7 months after Jae-In was born, he is also very ambitious and good looking like Jae-In but he knows he can never beat Jae-In. He is now working as the Director of a Department Store.
